I went into your Edmond, OK store today (Sunday) and bought a Octane Q37ci. I worked with Colton David who was incredibly knowledgeable and very service oriented. He even stayed after the store closed at 5 to accommodate my needs. Mr. David made it a wonderful buying experience. I just wanted to take the time to let you know you have a great employee working for you. It’s hard to find good customer service these days and Colton delivered beyond my expectations.
I received your thank you card; although it was not necessary, it was very much appreciated. I thought I would take this time to briefly summarize my purchase experience at your Algonquin location.
I fractured my fibula in December, and while still in an air cast I decided to purchase a recumbent exercise bike for future rehab purposes. After visiting the normal sports equipment chains, I noticed your store online. On my initial visit I was assisted by Bill Rockow, who not only demonstrated the features, advantages and benefits of the recumbent bikes that you sell, but also provided an overview of other types of fitness equipment that would help me reach my exercise goal. Although you equipment was more expensive than my budget of ~$500, the benefits outweighed the cost.
This brings me to the Octane Seated Elliptical. Since I was in a cast during my first visit at the store, my wife sampled the ride on my behalf. She is a nurse and former college athlete, so I completely trust her opinion. She was very impressed with all of the attributes of the XR6, and clearly visualized the near-term, and long-term benefits. Once my air cast was off, I visited with Bill again to try the equipment for myself. Obviously, I too saw the benefit over a traditional recumbent bike, but the cost was still a major factor. We finally decided to increase the budget and purchase the XR6e, but needed a lot of help from Bill to make the purchase affordable. Needless to say, we found common ground on the price, and we made the purchase.
The unit was delivered and set-up yesterday, and the team from TransMotion was efficient, and professional. So far, there are absolutely no disappointments, and we are starting to customize the settings to meet our fitness goals. I also purchased a monitor stand for the unit, which should arrive in a week. I am very happy that this accessory is available, and looking forward to the installation.
Lastly, I want to reiterate the outstanding job that Bill did. My wife and I are former owners for a Relax the Back franchise which sells high-end neck and back care products; so we truly understand the value of talented associates. You have a good one in Bill!

Before making the purchase I went home and researched treadmills more than I would like to admit. Mark answered every single question and pointed us to the LifeSpan 3000e. My wife and yes, even myself have been using the treadmill for about a week now. She has logged many more miles on it than I have and loves it. I am 6’4, 250 lbs. and it has proven to be extremely sturdy. I would highly recommend this treadmill! Please share my email with Mark and congratulate him for a job well done. Like I said, I would have undoubtedly purchased a treadmill off of Amazon or Costco if it hadn’t of been for Mark. You have a great store, but most of all great people. Continue reading
