I purchased my Q37 from 2nd Wind last year with encouragement from my dear wife. I weighed in at 260 pounds and hated to work out. My blood pressure was 135/90. I started out doing 12 minutes at a #5 program level. I also incorporated a low carb diet, which works well for me since I got tired of "rabbit food" as a steady diet. 14 hard months later....I now weigh 220, went from a size 40 waist to a 36. My blood pressure is 117/78. My work out consists of 30 minutes,3 miles each morning with the X-Mode every 2 minutes at a level 15! Just a note to tell you how much we have enjoyed doing business with you at 2nd Wind in Ellisville. Having just gone through Barriatric Surgery and anxious to get into an excercise program in which I could be successful. My husband and I entered your store in Ellisville searching for the best resource. We had been to a number of other companie's stores and were feeling like we were being preyed upon by uncaring and often unknowledgeable salespeople!

We were blessed to have Tiffany Doetzel help us through the process at 2nd Wind! Tiffany was very upbeat and encouraging from the beginning. She was truly interested in listening to our questions and assessing my needs. Not just a salesperson pushing merchandise, we felt that she was not only caring but very knowledgeable about her products as well as health and fitness. After finding my perfect elliptical (Octane 37E), she saw that it was delivered, set up and personally followed up when I had a problem with the heart monitor.

When I first got on my elliptical, I thought that 3 minutes would do me in! Tiffany encouraged me to break it up, do multiple times at short stints and that I would build up my endurance. She was so right! I started initially with three minutes 7 times a day, 4 minutes 5 times, 10 minutes 2 times, 15 minutes 2 times and now 30 minutes at one time and pushing myself for more!

My sister and nephew both also own 2nd Wind Ellipticals and likewise are very happy with their quality and service. My sister is doing 90 minutes a day!!! I actually tried this one time: I did 30 minutes with a 30 minute break, then did 15 minutes with a 5 to 10 minute break 4 times! (I called my sister and told her that I too had gone 90 minutes! She told me that she had done 101minutes!! Yes, I got back on my elliptical and did an additional 15 minutes!!! This time, I waited until the next day and then told her that I had done 105 the day before!!!!!! Not that we are COMPETITIVE or anything:) ) I am now down 87 pounds and 4 pants sizes since my surgery! My endurance is picking up due to my work on my elliptical! I have now been able to walk the Missouri Botanical Garden and the Jour de Fete in St. Genevive (9:30AM to 7:00PM outwalked my sisters.) Last week my husband and I spent two days at Silver Dollar City in Branson and I walked those hills without ever getting out of breath! THANK YOU TIFFANY FOR CARING AND ALL OF YOUR ENCOURAGEMENT!!!
